We started our three day trek from Holmbukt. Good starting point was right after storelva bridge. Sun was shining and no wind at all. We took all necessary gears and climbed at the height of about 300m. We considered this place as good point for “basecamp”. Tiny break and climbing toward Holmbuktinden started with light backpacks only. First 500 m was climbing in really beautiful narrow valley heading northeast. Above first valley opened large terrain which got camp name “the valley of the silence”. From the lower point of the valley can be seeing next narrow valley going up quite steeply. We proceeded climbing till about 1100 height, took short break and ski down back to BC and set up our camp. I hope pictures can describe even some of the feeling up there.
